New Wood Restoration Solution in action!
Our advanced wood cleaning formula is:
1. Safer than Bleach
2. Leaves a more natural finish
3. More effective at removing deep stains!
A wooden surface is similar to your face in many ways! It requires a cleaning, sloughing off and moisturizing!
After thoroughly rinsing all areas receiving treatment, we use the following steps:
1. Treat/kill algae, mildew and mold
2. High volume rinse
3.Neutralize PH level of surface
For years it was industry standard to simply "bleach and rinse"! While this method can please homeowners at first glance, over time this treatment ultimately dries out the wood and can reduce its lifespan. By applying a final coat of PH Neutralizer to the wood, we can lengthen the lifespan, guard structural integrity and improve overall aesthetics of the wood we are treating!
For deck cleaning, we use the same principals listed above, with a very special method of high volume rinsing. We use an in-house tuning method on our surface cleaner to rinse between 800 and 1000 PSI (also works great on Trex!) to go over all decking and hand detail hard to reach areas. This provides a much more uniform and even finish over the classic wand method.
Cedar Siding is one of the trickiest and most detail oriented exteriors to treat! In addition to the principles above, using too high of a bleach content, can give an unnatural appearance to the wood. To prevent this, we would start treating mildew with an in-house blend of Sodium Percarbonate and premium Surfactant. This is essentially a commercial grade version of hydrogen peroxide and it will begin foaming when it hits the algae much like hydrogen peroxide will foam on a wound! IF there is any algae left, we can follow up with a second coat, and proceed with high volume rinse and PH balancing.
Fence cleaning can be as simple as following our 3 step method; however, when it comes to shadow-box style fencing and other more intricate designs, we are hyper vigilant to fully treat recessed areas and cross sections that can easily conceal mildew to the untrained eye!
